Wed 10th March * Terry Adams Ideas from nature as inspiration for bonsai. Time-permitting also a critique of members´ trees, so bring along one or two trees for some constructive suggestions. Any bonsai that you have developed using ideas from nature as inspiration
Wed  14th April   Workshop   Acers and trees showing first leaves
Wed 12th May   Style a tree competition We divide those present into teams of three or four (depending on how many attend) and give each team a shrub of nursery stock. In the course of the evening they have to turn it into a bonsai and the winning team gets a small prize

Wed 14th July   Techniques for taking photos of bonsais Members should bring along a tree to photograph along with their own digital camera. This is a practical session. Advice will be given on: how to position the tree, what sort of background to use, lighting etc.
Wed 11th August   Summer Show Bring along a tree, (and accent plant etc. if you´d like) prepared for an internal club show.
We will all have a secret ballot on which one "steals the show"
Sun 15th August   Annual BBQ Members´ families only BBQ held at Robin and Eve´s House in Caversham starting at 1200

Wed 13th October   Workshop   Acers, Larches and any other trees showing Autumn colour

Wed  8th December   AGM & Eats & Auction AGM followed by eats and drinks followed by an auction of our trees
