Wed  9th January * John Trott Members´ Pines - Everyone bring along a pine for John to give a constructive critique and guide you on how to develop it, for example with pruning or wiring. John will also demonstrate how to get rid of the "bottle brush" effect that some pines have when they have been neglected
Wed 13th February   Winter ⁄ No leaves deciduous show Bring along a tree, (and accent plant etc. if you´d like) prepared for an internal club show. We will all have a secret ballot on which one looks best nude! 
Wed 12th March   Workshop Repotting Any trees in styles - cascade, semi-cascade, windswept, leaning, slanting
Wed  9th April * Collette Harrison Spring Pruning Acers and trees showing first leaves
Wed 14th May   Workshop   Any trees less than 10 inches (25 cm) tall
Wed 11th June * Lee Verhorevoort Members´ Trees - Everyone bring along a tree that you would like advice on. Lee is able to give your tree a constructive critique and guide you on how to develop it, for example with pruning, shaping or wiring, etc.
Wed  9th July   Workshop   Yew, Spruce, Cedar
Wed 13th August   Show time Bring along a tree, (and accent plant etc. if you´d like) prepared for an internal club show.
We will all have a secret ballot on which one "steals the show"
Sun 17th August   Annual BBQ Members´ families only BBQ held at Robin and Eve´s House in Caversham starting at 1200
Wed 10th September * Reg Bolton Shohin and how to Display.
Trees up to 6 inches tall measured from soil to apex.
Wed  8th October   Styla a tree competition We divide those present into teams of three or four (depending on how many attend) and give each team a shrub of nursery stock. In the course of the evening they have to turn it into a bonsai and the winning team gets a small prize
Wed 12th November   Workshop   Any Evergreen trees
Wed 10th December   AGM & Eats & Auction AGM followed by eats and drinks followed by an auction of our trees
