Wed 11^th January		Creating a Bonsai Talk	Everyone gives their ideas on what a bonsai speaker should cover.
Wed 8^th February		Evergreen Winter Show	Bring along an evergreen tree, (and accent plant etc. if you´d like) prepared for an internal club show. We will all have a secret ballot on which one "steals the show"
Wed 14^th March	*	Terry	Demonstration on two or three trees of different species, starting with them as "raw material" and demonstrating how they can be turned into "bonsai".
Wed 11^th April	*	John Trott	Workshop on an alternative way to do a group planting for display on a suiban.
Wed 9^th May		Style a tree competition	We divide those present into teams of three or four (depending on how many attend) and give each team a shrub of nursery stock. In the course of the evening they have to turn it into a bonsai and the winning team gets a small prize
Wed 13^th June		Workshop
Wed 11^th July	*	Collette Harrison	Refinement of English native species (e.g. Hawthorn).	Native English species
Wed 8^th August		Summer Show	Bring along a tree, (and accent plant etc. if you´d like) prepared for an internal club show. We will all have a secret ballot on which one "steals the show" We will also hold an auction of trees, pots, books etc.
Sun 19^th August provisional, maybe 12th		Annual BBQ	Members´ families only BBQ held at Robin and Eve´s House in Caversham starting at 1230
Wed 12^th September	*	Terry Adams	How to prepare trees for winter
Wed 10^th October		Workshop		Acers, Larches and any other trees showing Autumn colour
Wed 14^th November	*	Lee Verhorevoort	Maintenance and pruning of pines that can be done in November	Pines
Wed 12^th December		AGM & Eats & Auction	AGM followed by eats and drinks followed by an auction of trees, pots, books etc.

* = charge for outside speaker. (£3 for Berkshire Bonsai Society members, £5 for visitors)
